My must-haves for 2020…

In no particular order, here are some things that helped me through this year:

* my kids (who won’t allow pictures, but trust me, they’re so stinkin’ cute ) šŸ˜

* Noise-canceling headphones (not to tune out my kids, just everything else šŸ˜‚): https://amzn.to/3rAFfx2

* my faith (YouVersion Bible app has awesome free reading plans) šŸ™Œ

* Weighted blanket (a must-have for anxiety…then again, my son keeps stealing mine, so apparently it’s a must-have even if you don’t have anxiety): https://amzn.to/3nVwWtl

* writing & publishing (4 books in 2020… many more planned for 2021!): https://amzn.to/2KLgxsZ

* my family– I love no longer being an ocean away from them ā¤

* for reading, I’m a huge fan of the Kindle Paperwhite. My happy place is during the holiday season with only the lights of the Christmas tree and the backlight of the Kindle: https://amzn.to/3aN3Ng2

* coffee mug warmer (I’m a slooooowww coffee drinker… no more trips to the microwave LOL): https://amzn.to/3rz0cbx

* the knowledge that “this too shall pass” šŸ„°

Please let me know what helped you through this year… I might still need it for 2021! šŸ˜‰

  1. Okay, in all honesty I have to admit I’m an older but less decrepit version of my absolutely youthful inner child, but damn girl…I LOVED your books. I’m actually borrowing my kindle to grandma so she can enjoy it too. It’s scarily vivid, painfully cruel as normal life tend to be, but so starkly beautiful I will probably have to reread them all in sequence another time…or two. Lol please keep them coming!

    1. Thank you, Lisa, that means so much! And believe me, you’re not the only adult who loves young adult. I’m pretty sure I’ll be loving YA when I’m your grandma’s age and beyond :))
